Two sets of travel business associates, encompassing 17 travel representatives from Iran and the UAE of late went for 6D 5N familiarization trips (FAM Trips) organised by Tourism Malaysia. It is part of upholding Malaysia’s vibrant city and amusing destinations directly and increasing product information on nature to their individual markets.
Organized in association with Air Arabia, the first group from Iran was carried from Tehran by way of Sharjah in the UAE to Kuala Lumpur for getting an understanding of numerous tourism places, comprising
KLCC, KL Tower, Istana Negara, Central Market, Merdeka Square and Batu Caves before continuing to
the Lexis Hibiscus, Port Dickson to find out what 5-star extravagant beach resort has to present. The eight
contributors also had the chance to revel in Putrajaya as well as an extensive variety of indoor and outdoor doings at Resorts World Genting.
The second outing witnessed nine travel representatives from the UAE, comprising officials from
Air Arabia, embarking from Sharjah to Kuala Lumpur.
The contributors relished water sports undertakings at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson, exploring around the
city of Kuala Lumpur, along with engaging themselves in the new Sunway Lagoon and Genting Skyworlds
from 5 to 10 June this year.
The Director-General of Tourism Malaysia, Dato’ Dr. Ammar Abd. Ghapar said that Tourism Malaysia
endures to improve Malaysia’s tourism campaign to the market of the Middle East besides dynamic involvement in the newest version of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) held this May.
