    As the 2024 edition of the prestigious event concluded, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad and Tourism Malaysia handed over the hosting duties to Perth Airport and Tourism Western Australia.

    Routes Asia annually brings together airlines, airports, and tourism entities to promote air service development in the Asia Pacific, supporting the region’s aviation sector. The upcoming event is expected to host over 3,000 meetings, shaping the future of air travel in the region.

    Tourism is vital to Western Australia’s economy, supporting nearly 30,000 businesses and creating over 89,000 jobs in the 2021-22 fiscal year. It contributed $16.8 billion to the state’s economy through visitor spending, highlighting the importance of improving air travel connections for economic growth.
