The International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), overseen by ASM Global, Australia’s premier venue for conventions, exhibitions, and entertainment, is pleased to announce the elevation of Michelle Zangari to the position of Senior Manager, Live Events.
Expanding on her role as ICC Sydney’s Manager of Ticketing and Bookings in the Live Events team, Michelle has taken on the responsibility of leading the Live Events segment. In this capacity, she oversees the dynamic entertainment events scheduled at the 8,000-seat ICC Sydney Theatre and the 2,500-seat Darling Harbour Theatre.
Having joined ICC Sydney in 2016, Michelle’s exceptional talents were quickly recognized, leading to her promotion to Ticketing Manager. In 2021, she advanced to the role of Manager, Bookings and Ticketing in acknowledgment of her strong commercial instincts. Zangari is set to leverage her extensive seven years of experience in nurturing ICC Sydney’s events market, including her substantial contribution to the venue’s record-breaking year of entertainment events in 2023.
Zangari heads a team of nine Live Events professionals responsible for event management, operations, ticketing, booking, business development, partnerships, and merchandise management. This seasoned team possesses a profound understanding and passion for live events, encompassing concerts, performances, and sporting spectacles.
