The 20th HCM City Tourism Fair is scheduled for April 4 to 7 at September 23 Park in District 1 of the city.
The event, with the theme “20-year exciting journey,” is a major promotion event organised annually to boost the city’s tourism, Lê Trương Hiền Hòa, deputy director of the city Department of Tourism, said.
The fair presents a prime opportunity for travel firms to unveil their latest summer tours, catering to the rising domestic travel demand, as announced at a press briefing on Tuesday.
The event will gather tourism promotion agencies, travel companies, hotels, airlines, and other tourism services from across the country, showcasing their offerings at over 100 booths.
Numerous tourism stimulus programs will debut at the fair, featuring nearly 400 tours and travel-related products and services at discounts of nearly 50 percent. Additionally, around 40 new HCM City tours and river tours will be available at a 60 percent discount.
As part of the fair, several seminars will focus on topics such as human resources and new business models in the tourism industry.
The fair is jointly organized by the department and the city tourism association.
