The lively Thai Songkran Festival has begun, attracting global crowds to partake in vibrant water festivities. Central Pattana has organized unforgettable experiences nationwide, drawing over a million visitors and propelling ‘Thai Songkran’ into the Top 10 of the world’s premier festivals. Under the theme ‘Bring Thainess to The World,’ the event blends local cultural traditions seamlessly. Attendees enjoyed UNESCO-praised Thai cultural presentations, including Thai boxing, contemporary ‘Khon’ performances, Thai Human Puppets, and JOE LOUIS Thai puppet shows. They also paid homage to Buddha images from four Thai regions and relics from five kingdoms. In Bangkok, the ‘centralwOrld Songkran Fest 2024’ emerged as a global-scale celebration at the heart of Ratchaprasong, showcasing every facet of Thai culture. The event featured music festivals, water splashing activities, and traditional Thai cultural showcases. With a lineup of over 100 artists, attendees enjoyed festivities, including a colorful carnival parade featuring Miss Songkran Universe: Sheynnis Palacios, Miss Universe 2023 and Global Cultural Ambassador.
Songkran excitement extended across the nation with events like the Westgate Songkran Concert 2024 at Central Westgate, Hatyai Songkran Festival 2024 at Central Hatyai, Songkran Bikini Beach War at Central Phuket, and Pattaya Songkran Wanlai Festival 2024 at Central Pattaya. Water War Chiang Mai 2024 was held at Central Chiangmai Airport, and SONGKRAN KORAT 2024 was showcased at Central Korat.
