Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is boosting Hong Kong’s position as a premier international events host. The renowned Consensus conference, crucial for cryptocurrency and Web 3, will take place in Hong Kong from February 19 to 21, 2025, as “Consensus Hong Kong 2025,” its first time outside the US in five years. With an expected 8,000 attendees, including 6,000 from abroad, the event highlights Hong Kong’s global appeal. Consensus conferences, starting in 2015, are vital for the cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3 sectors, fostering collaboration and innovation. The Hong Kong conference aims to unite industry stakeholders, spur discussions on digital technology’s future, and enhance global-local interactions through a series of planned events.
The government and HKTB have jointly provided all-around support to the organizer when bidding for the event, including lining up the organizer, CoinDesk, and relative parties for professional advisory, venue liaison, and site inspection arrangement.
