Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) is solidifying its position as a global hub for MICE tourism with an impressive H1 calendar featuring over 70 events. These events will be held at DWTC and Dubai Exhibitions Centre (DEC) at Expo City Dubai, spanning various sectors like Healthcare, Food, Energy, Tourism, Transport, and Technology. The goal is to enhance DWTC’s contribution to Dubai’s economy and reinforce its status in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry.
Mahir Abdulkarim Julfar, Executive Vice President at DWTC, emphasizes their commitment to excellence and innovation. In 2024, DWTC aims for growth and expansion, hosting high-profile events at both DWTC and DEC. Notable exhibitions include FESPA Middle East, Arab Health, Gulfood, and Arabian Travel Market, contributing to Dubai’s global business and tourism reputation.
DWTC continues to serve as a versatile venue, hosting corporate meetings, sports, and entertainment events, significantly contributing to Dubai’s citywide calendar. The diverse calendar features leading events like DUPHAT, Intersec, World of Coffee Dubai, and Gulf Print. FESPA Middle East marks a significant expansion, bringing its wide format printing expertise to the Middle East.
Arab Health Exhibition and Congress, a major healthcare event, is set to welcome over 3,450 exhibitors. Following this, AEEDC Dubai, the world’s largest annual scientific dental conference, takes place. Gulfood, the largest annual trade show in the food and beverage industry, covers a million sq. ft of products and innovations.
