Prevue Meetings & Incentives, a leading expert in the meetings and incentives sectors, has published the findings of its inaugural annual review of internal corporate incentive organizers.
The corporate incentive trends survey is based on responses from 382 organizers within Prevue’s audience. Respondents represented a variety of industries, with the largest proportion coming from technology (26%), followed by finance and insurance (24%), and manufacturing (23%). Other industries included automotive, direct sales, among others. The majority of respondents indicated a focus on incentives targeting the sales force (47%), dealers and distributors (44%), or the distribution channel (22%). However, some companies stated that they also organize incentive programs for staff members whose roles are not directly linked to sales metrics.
Barbara Scofidio, the Prevue Editor said that this review is strong evidence that incentive travel schemes tend to work. While businesses had to recoil for few years, they are once more capitalizing in inducements and selecting destinations all over the world. Scofidio said that for this review, they went straight to the foundation — the people within organizations who organize these tours, and they aim to endure it per annum.
