In its 31st year, the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) has announced its 2024 Welcome Event theme and venue for 19 February: AIME Neon Carnival at Grazeland.
Grazeland, an open-air venue, highlights Melbourne’s rich food and beverage culture with its array of bars, food trucks, and stalls that celebrate the city’s diverse culinary heritage.
For this special AIME gathering, Grazeland will transform with a vibrant neon theme exclusively for those attending the Welcome Event.
The celebration anticipates welcoming 1,600 participants, including hosted buyers, exhibitors, media partners, and VIPs. Visitors who purchase ticket upgrades can also join. AIME’s event director, Silke Calder, hints, “We’re keeping some surprises under our hat, but attendees can look forward to delicious food, exquisite wine, dancing, and unexpected delights for those who linger until the end.”
John Forman, director of Grazeland, shares his belief in the power of communal dining for fostering effective connections, stating, “The essence of many cultures is their food, making events centered around culinary experiences ideal for networking and enjoyment.”
The ‘AIME Neon Carnival’ theme draws inspiration from the imaginative flair of event producer Cirkus Bizurkus.
AIME 2024 is scheduled from 19 to 21 February 2024 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, with the Welcome Event hosted at Grazeland from 7 pm to 10 pm on 19 February.
