The AIM Congress 2024 roadshow in Latin America concluded successfully, strengthening ties between the UAE and several countries in the region. The series of events in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Lima, Peru; and Bogota, Colombia, highlighted economic opportunities and fostered connections between stakeholders.

In Sao Paulo, meetings with organizations like the GRI Club and LIDE reaffirmed their commitment to international collaborations supported by AIM Congress. The upcoming Brazil – UAE forum in Dubai, organized by LIDE, demonstrates the growing economic ties between the two nations.

In Lima, discussions with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) focused on creating a business corridor between Latin America and Asia through the UAE. PROMPERU expressed interest in joining the 2024 AIM Congress, and Warmi Ventures signed an MoU with AIM Global Foundation to participate in the AIM Startup competition.

In Colombia, the roadshow explored investment opportunities across various sectors. Meetings with PROCOLOMBIA, Invest in Bogota, and the Colombia Private Equity Association highlighted Colombia’s advantages for foreign investment and economic growth.

Dawood Al Shezawi, President of the AIM Congress and the AIM Global Foundation said: “AIM Congress 2024 will play a vital role in facilitating communication among global leaders and key stakeholders in the investment field. AIM Congress hopes to stimulate collaboration and joint efforts, shedding light on developments in the global investment landscape and proposing innovative solutions to current and future challenges. The AIM Congress 2024, themed “Adapting to a Shifting Investment Landscape: Harnessing New Potentials for Global Economic Development,” is organized with the backing of the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development as the lead partner. The summit is slated to occur from May 7 to 9, 2024, in Abu Dhabi.
