InterContinental Hotels Group® is opening a Holiday Inn hotel in Udaipur which will be operational by 2022. It has signed an agreement with Bhumika Enterprises Private Limited to open a 195 room hotel which will be Udaipur’s first Holiday Inn hotel.
The hotel will be opened in Urban Square which is the largest mall in Rajasthan. Spread over 1.8 million square feet approximately, Urban Square houses leading international and national retail brand outlets, top commercial office spaces, conferencing space, multiplex and a food court.
InterContinental Hotels Group® is a 7-minute drive from the city centre and just a 30-minute drive from the Maharana Pratap Airport. It is situated on NH8 and well connected to the nearby cities.
Holiday Inn Udaipur Urban Square will offer 12,000 square feet of meeting space, and 10,000 square feet ballroom to accommodate upto 1000 people. It will help position Udaipur as a preferred MICE destination. The hotel also has an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty cuisine restaurant and a bar. Leisure facilities including a rooftop pool, a spa and a gymnasium are in the anvil.
As per Sudeep Jain, Vice President, Development, South West Asia, IHG, Holiday Inn Udaipur Urban Square is positioned for leisure, MICE and weddings for domestic and international travellers. The hotel will become a leading destination for hospitality, retail, and family entertainment in Udaipur.
According to Mr. Uddhav Poddar, Managing Director, Bhumika Group travellers, Holiday Inn Udaipur Urban Square provides midscale accommodation for office goers, travellers and shoppers.
The Holiday Inn group will continue to expand its footprints across the country by signing more agreements. Holiday Inn in Udaipur, also known as ‘City of Lakes’ is a part of their growth momentum.
