  • Arabian travel market 2024 highlights Indian outbound market growth

    Projected to reach $143.5 billion annually by the end of the decade, the Indian outbound market is a key focus at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024. The event, in its 31st year, will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from May 6 to May 9. Insights from a joint study by booking.com and McKinsey show that 70% of Indian international travelers prefer destinations nearby, with a third choosing places in the Middle East. The United Arab Emirates is the top choice in this region, followed closely by Saudi Arabia. Data from the Dubai Economy and Tourism (DET) indicates that India is Dubai’s leading source of tourism, with 1.9 million visitors in the first ten months of 2023. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia aims to attract 7.5 million visitors by 2030.
