Wego, the leading travel search site in the Middle East and Asia Pacific, will be a participating sponsor at this year’s Aviation Festival Middle East in Dubai.
The premier aviation conference, which takes place October 25-26, will be held at the Dubai Ritz Carlton DIFC.
“We’re looking forward to attending the Festival and meeting with airlines and airport representatives who are keen to join Wego’s vast local and international partners, and extend their reach with travellers online,” said Mamoun Hmedan, Managing Director of Wego Middle East, North Africa and India.
Wego’s senior executive team will be in attendance, including Mamoun Hmedan, and from Singapore headquarters, Ross Veitch, CEO and co-founder of Wego, along with Dean Wicks, Chief Flights Officer.
Mr Wicks will also facilitate a Roundtable panel on Monday, October 26 at 15.20, on the subject of ‘Innovative passenger handling processes’.
“Wego enjoys enormous popularity in MENA, established as the first travel search site in Arabic, and regularly in the top 5 of travel apps in the region at both the iTunes and Google Play store,” added Hmedan. “Our commitment to the growing travel industry in this region is emphasised by the attendance of Wego’s senior management team who will join me from the Singapore headquarters.”
