The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre’s) has invested over RM500,000 to enhance its security services with the purchase of a digital walkie-talkie system comprising 200 walkie-talkies and five portable radio repeaters as part of the Centre’s on-going efforts to ensure the delivery of world-class services to delegates and visitors alike.
Running on the Centre’s IP (Internet Protocol) network, the digital walkie-talkie system features include simultaneous multiple person conversations; push-to-talk capabilities that deliver increased capacity and spectrum efficiency; integrated data communications; and enhanced voice capability so there is no noise interference.
