Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air have made a prominent appearance at the 30th Thai International Travel Fair (TITF) in Bangkok, joining over 1,100 exhibitors to foster tourism recovery and strengthen international travel connections.
Both airlines are actively participating alongside 14 other international carriers at TITF, presenting their offerings to a diverse audience. The event, organized by the Thai Travel Agents Association, features a wide range of exhibitors, including travel agencies, hotels, car rental services, and booking platforms from regions such as China, Japan, Iran, Uzbekistan, and ASEAN countries.
Running from January 16 to 19, the fair serves as a critical platform for stakeholders across the tourism sector to showcase their services, establish partnerships, and contribute to the global recovery of travel in the post-pandemic era. Experts recognize events like TITF as essential for reigniting travelers’ interest, rebuilding tourism infrastructure, and driving long-term growth in the industry.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand, Pham Viet Hung, underscored the strategic importance of Vietnam’s participation in the fair. He highlighted efforts to attract Thai visitors to Vietnam and strengthen bilateral tourism ties, emphasizing cultural exchange and mutual collaboration as vital components of the partnership.
The ambassador also reaffirmed the Vietnamese Embassy’s commitment to supporting aviation and tourism businesses in expanding their reach within the Thai market. These efforts aim to enhance opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises, foster enduring partnerships, and solidify Vietnam’s presence in Thailand’s travel industry.
