FlixBus Revolutionizes UK Travel with £4 Coach Tickets and Expands Routes to Over 80 Cities for an Affordable Summer Adventure
FlixBus is making budget travel across the UK even more accessible with the launch of £4 intercity coach tickets, celebrating its fourth anniversary in the UK with a major expansion of its routes. This exciting offer will be available for travel between April 23 and June 30, 2025, allowing budget-conscious travelers to explore the UK at a fraction of the cost. With limited discounted seats, early booking is recommended to secure the best fares.
In addition to the promotional tickets, FlixBus is expanding its network to include new stops such as Cheltenham, Gloucester, Swindon, and Norwich, with more destinations, including Bath, Chippenham, Newquay, Weston-Super-Mare, Bournemouth, Southampton, and Poole, to be added in mid-May—all available at the £4 fare.
Andreas Schorling, Managing Director of FlixBus UK, shared, “We believe everyone should have the chance to travel. Our mission is to provide affordable travel that allows people to reconnect with loved ones, explore the UK, and create lasting memories, all without breaking the bank.”
By summer 2025, FlixBus will have over 200 green coaches operating across British roads, enhancing connectivity and offering travelers more choices than ever before. The company’s customer satisfaction ratings on Trustpilot remain high, underscoring its commitment to quality service.
FlixBus also highlighted the positive impact its services have on local economies. According to the Confederation of Passenger Transport, each new daily service can contribute up to £1 million to a destination’s economy—a benefit FlixBus is eager to support as it expands its reach.
Since entering the UK market in 2021, FlixBus has been a key player in affordable and sustainable travel. Founded in Munich in 2011 by three university students, FlixBus now operates globally across Europe, North and South America, and Asia. In 2023, FlixBus achieved £1.71 billion in revenue, serving over 81 million passengers globally, with 55 million journeys taking place across Europe.
FlixBus’s reputation for innovation was further solidified in 2018 with the launch of the world’s first long-distance all-electric coach service between Paris and Amiens, cementing its position as a leader in sustainable travel solutions.
