TAT Sydney recently organized an exclusive trade meeting and familiarization event dedicated to Sustainable Tourism in Krabi, Thailand. Between March 11 and 18, 2025, 20 delegates from the Australian and New Zealand travel sectors visited Krabi to explore eco-friendly travel options, connect with industry partners, and immerse themselves in the region’s sustainable tourism offerings.
The event, called “The Meaningful Travel Experiences Trade Meet & Famil,” was designed to broaden understanding of sustainable travel practices while positioning Krabi as a leading destination for responsible tourism.
The event welcomed key representatives from some of the most influential travel companies and media outlets across Australia and New Zealand.
Prominent delegates included retail agents and wholesale partners from major organizations such as Flight Centre, Helloworld, Intrepid, Luxury Escapes, Infinity Holidays, Travel Weekly, Fusion Holidays, Ignite Holidays, The Travel Corporation, Malai Travel, Vio Travel, and Thai Airways.
These industry leaders participated in discussions and workshops centered on sustainable tourism, reinforcing the global shift towards eco-conscious and responsible travel options.
