After a year-long development effort, Toleranca Marketing and Arctur have unveiled a groundbreaking sustainability rating tool for events.

ITB Berlin 2024, happening from March 5th to 7th, is a key event for the global travel trade, with a focus on Medical and Health Tourism. This year’s edition, located in Hall 3.1, showcases a range of exhibits highlighting the growing importance of health and wellness tourism in the travel industry.

New to the Medical Tourism domain are the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and Slovenia, participating as supporting partners and exhibitors within the Medical & Health Pavilion. They join established attendees such as Barcelona Medical Destination, FIT Reisen, Gremi Klinik from Albania, HTI – Health Tourism Industry, and the European Spas Association (ESPA), showcasing the latest trends and services in health-related travel.

Slovenia will present its cultural and sustainable tourism highlights at ITB Berlin 2024, the leading international tourism expo from 5-7 March 2024. This year, the focus will be on showcasing its rich arts and cultural offerings, with a special spotlight on Nova Gorica, set to be the European Capital of Culture in 2025 alongside Italy’s Gorizia. Slovenia will also highlight its role in promoting sustainable tourism practices.

ITB Berlin, expected to attract around 24,000 attendees, is the premier global event for the tourism industry, exclusively for professionals. The expo will include expert-led discussions across four stages and 17 specialized areas, all centered around the theme “Define the World of Travel. Together.”

Following its successful debut in 2023, hub27 is gearing up for another standout year at ITB Berlin 2024, with a special focus on German-speaking countries, Slovenia, and Liechtenstein. The fully booked, multi-purpose hall has emerged as a focal point for highlighting the diverse cultural and tourism attractions of these regions. Liechtenstein makes its return to ITB Berlin, while Austria and Germany expand their presence.

The 23rd Meeting (COP23) of the Contracting Parties to the Barcelona Convention and its Protocols convened from December 5 to 8, 2023, in Portoroz, Slovenia. During this gathering, crucial measures were adopted to safeguard ecosystems in response to the escalating challenges posed by the triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.
