HKT, AIS, Globe, Optus, Singtel, Taiwan Mobile, and Telkomsel have jointly announced the formation of an Alliance to introduce a groundbreaking cross-border rewards program. The initiative aims to enhance the value offered to eligible customers traveling to Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, or Indonesia, where the respective telcos are based. Scheduled for a gradual rollout in the latter half of 2024, this program will enable qualifying travelers to access exclusive offers and redeem vouchers for various amenities such as transportation, dining, merchandise, services, and more, directly through the apps of the participating telcos in any of the covered markets. Additionally, travelers will have the option to receive free customer support services from their telco via calls or online channels while abroad.
