Recent data from the European Commission paints a striking picture: Zante (Zakynthos), a Greek island in the Ionian Sea, has emerged as Europe’s most heavily burdened tourist destination.

The 2024 Qatar Travel Mart (QTM) has commenced, uniting international tourism authorities and experts at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), marking one of the foremost gatherings in the travel and tourism sector of the region. This year’s event, sponsored by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, promises to be the most substantial and influential to date, enhancing Qatar’s status as a crucial worldwide travel destination. Running through November 27, 2024, QTM 2024 has drawn an extensive range of global participants, including delegates from Morocco, Bahrain, Australia, Austria, Italy, Japan, Romania, Paraguay, Uruguay, Croatia, and Bangladesh.
