On Saturday, October 19, JetBlue celebrated its 10th annual “Fly Like a Girl” event in Boston, one of the airline’s key hubs. The program provided young girls with a unique opportunity to discover various aviation careers, with mentorship from female crewmembers who play essential roles both in the air and on the ground. In collaboration with the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport), JetBlue’s Women in Flight Crewmember Resource Group (CRG), the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team, the Corporate Social Responsibility team, and the JetBlue Foundation, the event engaged more than 100 local girls aged 8-14. This initiative is designed to encourage the next generation to pursue careers in aviation.
