SIME Darby Convention Centre (SDCC) has permanently closed the dine-in outlets after 14 years of operation.

SDCC said in a notice that the closures involve Halia, East Café and China Treasures outlets.

“The ongoing global health crisis has impacted many lives and livelihood; and the Sime Darby Convention Centre is no exception.

“We are incredibly grateful to our loyal customers and would like to thank you for your patronage all these years,” the company added.

However SDCC is available for weddings, meetings and events.

Sime Darby Property, the owner of SDCC, had previously stated that its leisure segment registered a loss of RM15.77 million in 1H20 compared to a loss of RM8.61 million in the corresponding period of the previous year, mainly attributed to the closure of TPC Kuala Lumpur and SDCC during the Movement Control Order (MCO) last year.
