Royal Caribbean International is offering a range of flexible options for guests looking to adjust their bookings for the Allure of the Seas cruise, scheduled to depart from Rome on April 24, 2025. In response to passenger requests, the cruise line has introduced several choices to make travel adjustments more accessible for those affected by changing plans.
For guests who wish to modify their travel arrangements, Royal Caribbean is offering the flexibility to switch to a different sailing date or even change to another ship. Additionally, passengers can opt to downgrade to a lower stateroom category in exchange for onboard credit and a full refund of their cruise fare.
Flexible Options to Suit Every Passenger’s Needs
Guests with flexible travel plans are encouraged to take advantage of these options to tailor their experience. For those preferring to keep their original plans, the Allure of the Seas promises an exciting seven-night journey through the Western Mediterranean, departing from Civitavecchia, a port near Rome. The ship will visit destinations such as La Spezia, Naples, Marseille, Palma de Mallorca, and Barcelona.
Royal Caribbean is offering three main options for those looking to adjust their travel plans:
Switch to a New Sailing – Passengers can reschedule their trip to one of three alternative sailings, which include two similar cruises aboard the Allure of the Seas in May or an itinerary to Greece and Turkey aboard the Odyssey of the Seas. This option also includes a full refund for the original cruise booking and reimbursement for any non-refundable costs like flight and hotel changes.
Cabin Downgrade with Compensation – For those opting to downgrade from a balcony stateroom to an interior room, Royal Caribbean will offer a 100% refund on the original cruise fare, along with a $300 onboard credit per stateroom.
Cancel and Receive Future Cruise Credit – Guests who choose to cancel their booking will receive a full refund, as well as a 100% future cruise credit to use for any upcoming Royal Caribbean sailing. Additionally, any non-refundable, pre-paid travel expenses, including flights or hotel changes, will be reimbursed.
Commitment to Guest Satisfaction
Royal Caribbean remains committed to ensuring guest satisfaction by covering incurred travel expenses for flight or hotel changes, providing peace of mind for passengers adjusting their plans.
As the cruise date nears, guests are encouraged to explore these flexible options to customize their Mediterranean getaway according to their preferences.
