the Québec City Convention Centre CEO, Mr. P.-Michel Bouchard, and Mr. Denis Bédard, Sales Manager on the Québec Association and Exhibition Market, are attending the 80th UFI Congress (Global Association for the Exhibition Industry) in Seoul, South Korea.
Mr. Bouchard and Bédard are in Seoul on an exploratory mission to asses business opportunities for the Convention Centre and the Centre de foires d’Expocité. They will take advantage of the presence of 430 tradeshow planners as well as exhibition and convention centre managers to set up meetings to promote business opportunities in Québec City.
Since November 2012, the Québec City Convention Centre and ExpoCité’s Exhibition Centre, Québec largest tradeshow space, have joined forces. By combining their spaces, facilities and resources, Québec City’s two largest meeting spaces maximize the opportunities of hosting major international conferences with large tradeshows.
UFI represents 632 member organisations, present in 227 cities in 85 countries on the 6 continents.
