Penang Business Events: A year of achievements

The Penang Marriott Hotel is preparing for the 2023 Business Events Penang Annual Review on February 19th, 2024. This event celebrates the achievements of Penang’s Business Events sector in 2023, showcasing a year of engaging conferences and influential exhibitions that enriched the state.

The review will highlight Penang’s impressive growth in hosting 604 events in 2023, nearly tripling the previous year’s count and generating an estimated economic impact of RM1,033,856,600. Distinguished guests, including Penang’s Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow, YB Wong Hon Wai of PETACE, and Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau’s CEO Mr. Ashwin Gunasekeran, will offer their perspectives on the sector’s success.
