In a groundbreaking collaboration for the travel and technology sectors, the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and VNU Asia Pacific have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate technological innovation within the travel industry across the Asia Pacific region. This visionary partnership paves the way for Travel & Tech Asia 2025, a premier event scheduled for July 2–3, 2025, at the renowned Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok, Thailand.
The agreement was officially signed on November 29, 2024, at PATA’s headquarters in Bangkok by Noor Ahmad Hamid, CEO of PATA, and Chaisong Churitt, General Manager of VNU Asia Pacific. This collaboration is poised to revolutionize the future of travel technology, offering unparalleled opportunities for growth and innovation in the region.
Mr Hamid emphasised the importance of technology in shaping the travel and tourism industry, stating, “This collaboration with VNU Asia Pacific, a distinguished PATA member, leverages their extensive expertise in staging tech-related events across the Asia Pacific region.
