At the 2025 Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Annual Summit (PAS 2025), a groundbreaking report titled The Evolving Tourism Workforce: Human Capital Development in APAC was presented. This report sheds light on critical workforce issues and emerging opportunities within the region’s tourism sector.

Covering diverse sectors such as private and public industries, education, and youth initiatives, the report offers a comprehensive analysis of the current state of human capital in Asia Pacific’s tourism industry.
