Officials from The North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) announced the association will host the NAVC Conference at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, Florida, for seven consecutive years. Approximately 16,000 people will participate annually in the NAVC Conference, the largest education conference and trade show for the veterinary profession.
Prior to signing the new agreement, NAVC Conference was held at the Gaylord Palms, Orlando World Center Marriott and the Caribe Royale.
From 2017 to 2023 the conference will take place in Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center with the Hilton Orlando and Hyatt Regency: Orlando serving as core hotels.
The decision to move the conference to the OCCC was made by the NAVC Board of Directors and supported by the association’s Executive Leadership to allow for expansion of the exhibit halls and future programming needs.
“The NAVC Team is incredibly impressed with the high level of service and support demonstrated to our association,” said NAVC CEO Thomas M. Bohn, MBA, CAE. “We are excited to provide new and improved opportunities for engagement to our attendees.”
“The Orange County Convention Center is honored to be chosen as a long-term facility partner for the thriving NAVC Conference,” said Kathie Canning, executive director of the Convention Center.
“We have enjoyed an outstanding relationship with the leadership, staff, and the exhibiting companies and look forward to showing them everything that Orlando and the OCCC have to offer.”
