The ship’s final voyage is scheduled to conclude on May 10, 2026, docking in Yokohama and bringing to a close a distinguished career spanning more than three decades.
Since launching in 1990, Nippon Maru has completed over 2,000 voyages, traversing an astonishing 2,877,642 nautical miles — equivalent to circling the Earth roughly 133 times. Throughout its tenure, the ship has welcomed in excess of 600,000 passengers and visited over 400 ports both within Japan and overseas.
