This is another new edition from MICE Travel Advisor magazine. This month, lots of travel events are going to happen. Conventa 2023, EMITT Istanbul, Connect Midwest Marketplace, NEXT San Diego, OTM Mumbai, Regensburg Travel Exchange, and SATTE Delhi are the popular trade shows for this month.
What we saw last month was that the Middle East, especially Bahrain delivered a masterstroke for the MICE industry. Leading venue Management Company and live experience producer ASM Global recently hosted an awe-inspiring, firework-laden grand opening ceremony for the new Exhibition World Bahrain, one of the largest convention centres in the Middle East, with more than 1 million square feet of trade show and conference space.
South-East Asian country, the Philippines also has taken up measures to boost the meetings industry by boosting travel experiences. Sarawak’s business events industry wrapped up 2022 on a high note after securing 100 business events for 2023 and beyond — exceeding the initial target of 90% at an achievement rate of 111%.
