Green Globe Certification announces its participation at MEXCON Meeting Experts Conference to be held from June 11-13 in Berlin, Germany.
MEXCON`s theme is “The future of the meetings and convention industry” and is aimed at professionals and executives from associations and companies in the entertainment and event industry.
Green Globe CEO, Mr. Guido Bauer said, “Green Globe is excited to be participating, as we are partners of the European Association of Event Centres (EVVC) and the German Convention Bureau (GCB) who are the main conference organizers.
“Green Globe has certified over seventy Congress Centres and Conference Hotels as well as a number of event businesses in Germany.
MEXCON will be an excellent opportunity to meet with our members in the MICE sector and introduce our new International Sustainability Standard, which covers green meetings.
“I am also looking forward to personally meeting conference delegates at our MEXCON booth and presenting our internationally-recognized sustainability certification,” added Mr. Bauer.
Representatives attending MEXCON will be from hotels, event and incentive agencies, convention centers, venue operators, event planners, policy makers and customer organizations.
MEXCON will be held at the Maritim Hotel Berlin from June 11-13, 2014 and is organized by GCB German Convention Bureau eV and the EVVC – European Association of Event Centres.
Co-organizer is the Germany – Chapter of MPI Meeting Professionals International, with Cooperation Partners including the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), the Association of German Travel Management Association (VDR), the Association of German Event Organizers, the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association Germany eV and the Association of German stadium operators eV Supports.
