Last night Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) was recognised in the 2015 BRW Most Innovative Companies List, becoming Australia’s first convention and exhibition centre to be named in the prestigious list.
MCEC Chief Executive Peter King said: “We wanted to benchmark ourselves outside the business events industry, so to be ranked 33 out of more than 500 of Australia’s most innovative companies is an outstanding result.
“The events industry is at the forefront of innovation and this award validates our position as leaders within the wider business community.”
Innovation is a key pillar for MCEC, with continual investment being made to encourage employees’ ideas and incubate creativity.
