According to the Łódź Tourism Organization, Travelist.pl data for September through the end of November 2026 show that accommodation bookings in the city have doubled year on year. Łódź also recorded the biggest movement within the top group, climbing three positions to third place.
For travellers, the ranking coincides with an unusually concentrated sequence of cultural events. The city’s central areas will host concerts, exhibitions, screenings, festivals and outdoor installations, allowing visitors to combine sightseeing with scheduled events during short stays. The timing also makes it possible to explore Łódź beyond its summer tourism season, with autumn providing a programme focused strongly on indoor culture and evening city experiences.
Great September Brings Music Across the City
From 10 to 12 September, Great September Showcase Festival & Conference will spread almost 100 concerts across clubs, concert halls, hotels and other central Łódź venues. Rather than operating from one festival site, the event creates a city-wide route that takes visitors through different parts of the centre.
The programme includes established Polish performers and emerging artists, while the conference adds panels, workshops and discussions connected with the music industry. For tourists, the format allows a music-focused weekend to be combined with accommodation, restaurants and visits to central attractions.
Łódź of Many Cultures Adds International Experiences
The main weekend of the Łódź of Many Cultures Festival is scheduled for 17 to 20 September, within a wider edition running from April through November. From 25 to 27 September, the Light.Move.Festival. will bring large-scale projections, 2D and 3D mapping, light installations, artistic illuminations and performances to central Łódź. The event runs across three evenings, creating a walking route through streets, squares, parks and historic building façades.
