The event, formerly named Walkabout South East Asia, provides an opportunity for representatives from the Australian tourism industry to develop and establish business relationships with product planners and decision makers representing outbound travel from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
Australia Marketplace South East Asia includes pre-scheduled appointments between buyers and sellers, and opportunities to network at the official events.
This year briefings for both buyers and sellers will take place in the afternoon of Monday, 30 September, these will include market updates.
There will be 70 rotational appointments of 13-minutes duration over the two days of workshops. The proposed number and duration of appointments are based on the assumption of equal number of buyers and sellers and are subject to change.
As all buyers and sellers will be staying at the same venue for the duration of the event and most meals provided for the duration of the stay, buyers and sellers will enjoy various opportunities to network with each other in addition to their pre-scheduled appointments.
