The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre) has promoted Alice Lem Chu Hong to Deputy Director of Sales. With close to 16 years in the meetings and events industry, Alice joined the Centre in July 2011 as Floor Manager – Exhibitions before assuming the post of Sales Manager – Exhibitions in December 2012.
In her new capacity, Alice will be responsible for maintaining the financial and commercial
viability of the Centre’s five core business segments of Conventions and Conferences; Exhibitions; Meetings & Events; Banqueting and Functions; and Entertainment, identifying
new areas for sales revenue, maximising venue occupancy and yield from events, and
managing the Sales Team.
Tiffany Chung Suk Wei has taken over the Sales Manager – Exhibitions’ portfolio from Alice.
Tiffany, who joined the organisation in April 2013 as Floor Manager – Exhibitions, will now
have responsibility for the overall sales and marketing for the Exhibitions segment.
