Kempinski Hotels has once again earned the prestigious 2025 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA), marking the fourth consecutive year of receiving this honor. The award recognizes organizations that excel in creating a work environment that promotes exceptional employee engagement, well-being, and overall business success.
Despite the rapidly evolving work landscape, Gallup commended Kempinski Hotels for its unwavering commitment to engaging and empowering employees through innovative approaches, setting new benchmarks for workplace excellence.
Since launching its first Employee Engagement Survey in 2017, the group has consistently made strides in improving employee engagement. The average engagement score steadily rose, reaching 4.40 in 2021 and 4.43 in 2023. In 2024, this upward trend peaked at 4.49, reflecting stronger employee connection, motivation, and satisfaction. The company has heavily invested in talent acquisition, training, and development, fostering a work culture that emphasizes employee well-being.
Gallup’s meta-analysis, the largest workplace study ever conducted, covers data from over 3.3 million employees across 347 organizations in 53 industries and 90 countries. The findings demonstrate that organizations with high employee engagement outperform their peers in crucial business metrics, including customer satisfaction, profitability, productivity, employee retention, safety, absenteeism, quality, employee well-being, and organizational contributions.
