Kayleigh Linklater appointed as European Board Associate for IACC

Kayleigh Linklater, Sales Manager at Warwick Conferences, has been named the latest European board associate for the International Association of Conference Centres (IACC). As the sole global professional association representing small to medium-sized venues hosting meetings, training sessions, and conferences, IACC plays a crucial role in the industry.

The appointment of Linklater, following a comprehensive application process, includes an interview and meeting with IACC CEO Mark Cooper. Linklater will serve on the European leadership team for a two-year term, contributing insights into emerging trends and providing a millennial perspective to the board. Additionally, she will support annual conference planning groups, including the 2024 IACC Conference and the Better Tomorrow Initiative.

During her tenure, Linklater will collaborate with the outgoing board associate in the first year and the incoming board associate in the second year. Her role involves presenting a final report, summarizing observations and experiences gained during the period.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Linklater stated, “I am really looking forward to working with so many respected leaders from the sector whilst learning as much as I can along the way.”

Mark Cooper, CEO of IACC, commented on the appointment, stating, “We believe that this will be an extremely worthwhile and rewarding experience for Kayleigh and will provide IACC with valuable insights into emerging trends that we all face as well as help to address our ongoing commitment to leadership development.”
