Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, is delighted to have won five awards at the 2013 World Travel Awards Grand Final in Doha, Qatar.
At the glittering gala ceremony, Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, was awarded ‘World’s Leading MICE* Hotel,’ Burj Al Arab won ‘World’s Leading Hotel’ and ‘World’s Leading All Suite Hotel,’ the Talise Ottoman Spa at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on the Jumeirah Palm in Dubai won ‘World’s Leading Spa Resort,’ and Jumeirah at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi won ‘World’s Leading Conference Centre.’
Christophe Mousset, Hotel Manager Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, accepted the awards. He said: “Another great year for Jumeirah, a credit to our brand, our hotel leadership and our inspiring colleagues. We are extremely proud to have received five awards in recognition of the Jumeirah brand’s high standards and focus of exceeding our guests’ expectations.”
The industry’s elite including CEOs of leading travel companies, government ministers and tourism board chiefs travelled from around the globe to join guests of honour HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad al-Thani, chairperson of Qatar Museums Authority, and Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulaziz al-Thani to celebrate the very best travel and tourism brands.
The World Travel Awards celebrates its 20th anniversary this year,celebrating those companies, organisations and brands that push the boundaries of industry excellence in product and service.
