Royal Caribbean Offers Flexible Travel Options for Allure of the Seas Passengers in Italy, Including Booking Adjustments, Refunds, and Credits
Royal Caribbean International is providing passengers aboard the Allure of the Seas a variety of flexible options, allowing them to modify their bookings, request refunds, or receive onboard and future cruise credits. These offerings are available for those planning to sail from Rome on April 24, 2025.
In recent communication to select travelers, Royal Caribbean outlined several compensation choices for those looking to reschedule or switch their cruise dates or ships.
Guests are offered the opportunity to downgrade their stateroom in exchange for onboard credit and a full refund of their initial booking cost.
The Allure of the Seas will set off on a seven-night voyage across the Western Mediterranean, departing from Civitavecchia, near Rome. The ship’s itinerary includes stops in La Spezia, Naples, Marseille, Palma de Mallorca, and Barcelona.
For passengers with flexible travel plans, Royal Caribbean has outlined three distinct options. The first allows guests to reschedule their trip to one of three alternative departures, including two similar sailings aboard Allure of the Seas in May or a cruise to Greece and Turkey aboard the Odyssey of the Seas. Those selecting this option will receive a full refund for their original booking.
Another option involves downgrading the cabin category, moving from a balcony stateroom to an interior room. In this case, passengers will receive a full refund of their original fare, along with a $300 onboard credit per stateroom.
Lastly, travelers may opt to cancel their reservation entirely. This option offers a full refund of the initial fare, in addition to a 100% future cruise credit, which can be used on any future Royal Caribbean voyage.
