Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, Managing Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co Ltd said: “In this digital age where social media has a great influence over our everyday life, a mascot or iconic cartoon has become a unique marketing tool online for spreading our messages to a wide range of people.
Hence we decided to make our first mascot, Nong IMPACT, to portray our brand identity and strengthen brand awareness through the mascot personality, character design, and concept where a large target audience can easily see and better understand the many messages we wish to communicate.”
“For those people who are come to IMPACT to visit events will be surprise with the blue iconic cartoon character, Nong IMPACT.” Mr. Paul said Nong IMPACT mascot received his name by involving all IMPACT’s staff in a vote.
Designed to look like a part of a jigsaw puzzle it truly represents a “Missing Piece”. The visual of the mascot character was created to represent a futuristic style in tone of IMPACT’s corporate blue and orange. Of course he has a friendly and professional personality with a warm-heart. He has a strong sense about peoples needs and he can transform himself into various and different roles to provide the best service to customers.
His favorite hobby is helping people wherever he goes. His character is friendly, professional cool, calm, fun, enthusiastic, with a warm heart and a service mind.
Although Nong IMPACT is defined as a mascot character, Mr. Paul considers him to be the ‘Missing Piece’ with a professional personality and a heart of service mind which helps to fulfill the customer’s wishes and needs.
Nong IMPACT mascot will also be developed into saleable products and later be developed as an animated emoticon that will run on WeChat, social mobile application.
Mr. Paul added, “We will bring our Nong IMPACT mascot to our IMPACT WeChat emoticon in order to create more awareness and strengthen brand engagement with our customers and, of course, to make our visitors happy with each if their visits to our site.”
