Himachal tourism chief urges tourists to stay safe amid continuous rains

In the midst of continuous drizzle in Himachal Pradesh, RS Bali, the Tourism Chief has delivered strategies for the security of tourists and the overall public.


RS Bali said that the weather situation in Himachal is not something to worry about since everyday workings have not been troubled.


Bali said that it is not an alarming circumstance in their state, with schools, colleges and offices operating as usual. There is nothing which has impeded the everyday functioning of Himachal.


Visitors have been directed to drive sensibly and keep the whereabouts of their mobile phones to be switched on if by chance they get caught anywhere because of the downfall.


If tourists are considering trekking journeys, it is advisable to begin the voyage with a skilled guide.
Bali also requested the people of Himachal to adhere to all the given guidelines and asked the tourists to list themselves with the state experts for contacting them if they get caught somewhere or get lost while hiking.


Tourists need to make sure that the GPS utility in their mobile phones remains facilitated all the time,
permitting their whereabouts to be traced all through their journey.


Tourists need to evade driving in conditions during mist, fog and rain. 


Tourists need to enjoy their stopover and travel understandings in the hills while also exhibiting
admiration toward the mountains’ sanctity.
