Goyang City and Gyeonggi Tourism Organization held the first “MICE Academy” to train professional manpower for the emerging MICE Industry.
The Academy received interest from a wide-range of participants, from high-school students and homemakers to retirees. They were all eager to work in various fields of the MICE industry.
The academy is composed of 20 sessions, which include general overlook of MICE industry, actual working experience, and field survey. It will last until the 27th and those who fully complete the program will be able to get a chance to work at the KINTEX’s as MICE event staff or in the related industry.
The officials of Goyang city said that the number of KINTEX’s events reaches 1000 per year, and it demands a substantial number of professional manpower.
