One of the fastest-growing industries of the world, tourism is an important financial driver, influencing job creation, commerce, investment, social inclusion and infrastructure.
India as an important destination for tourists worldwide. It offers rural and religious tourism, ecological, leisure as well as adventure pursuits, heritage tourism, medical and MICE.
The Central Government after identifying the complete potential of the Indian Tourism Industry has aimed to attain USD 1Trillion in tourism GDP and by 2047, turn the country as a worldwide leader in Tourism.
The Ministry of Tourism, India, as a step towards this, is arranging the 1st Global Tourism Investors’ Summit 2023. It is scheduled to be arranged at Pragati Maidan, at New Delhi, together with the CII as the Industry Partner.
The Summit will encourage the Indian tourism industry as an ‘Investment Destination’. It will act as a platform for the Central as well a State Governments. Here, the domestic and global investors will talk about investment possibilities in the domestic industry, a bunch of investment ready projects for investors along with the affiliation in form of B2B and B2G linkage.
