Feast Your Heart Out During Miami Spice

Now in its 14th year, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) kicks-off its highly anticipated Miami Spice Restaurant program, bringing local and visiting foodies exclusive dining discounts for a limited time. From August 1 – September 30, nearly 200 local restaurants, including 53 new participants will offer three-course meals priced at $23 for lunch and $39 for dinner. The reduced pricing does not include tax and gratuity.
On July 30, Miami Spice will launch with the Miami New Times Iron Fork Miami Spice Kickoff, an annual culinary competition and grand tasting, drawing local celebrity chefs as well as epicureans. Hosted by Chef Allen Susser, the two-part event will take place at the Hyatt Regency Miami (400 S.E. 2nd Ave.) with doors opening at 6 p.m. for VIPs 7 p.m. for general admission. Additionally, the GMCVB has partnered with OpenTable, a leading online restaurant reservation site, throughout the months of August and September to promote Miami Spice and the participating restaurants in Greater Miami and the Beaches.
Spa, Spice and Everything Nice
With Miami Spice coinciding with Miami Spa Month in August, summer savings are twice as nice. Miami Spa Month runs from July 1 – August 30 providing spa goers with discounted treatments available at price points of $99 and $129. With 35 world-renowned participating spas, both guests and residents can enjoy rejuvenating treatments – like deep-tissue massages and exfoliating body polishes – at up to 50% savings.
