Emirates Adds Free Dubai Attractions as Winter Travel Campaign Targets More Visitors

Dubai winter travel gets more value
Dubai winter travel gets more value

Emirates is giving travellers another incentive to visit Dubai this winter with a new promotion that includes complimentary access to three popular attractions valued at AED 535. The campaign arrives as Dubai prepares for its busy winter tourism season, when cooler weather, festivals, shopping events and outdoor experiences traditionally increase visitor demand.

Eligible travellers booking return Emirates flights to Dubai during the promotion period can receive access to Aquaventure World, Lost World Aquarium and a 24-hour Dubai City Sightseeing Hop-on Hop-off bus tour. The offer applies to qualifying bookings made between September 21 and October 11, 2026, for travel between September 24 and December 13, 2026.

Three Dubai Experiences Included

The complimentary package brings together three very different ways to experience the city.

The first is Aquaventure World, where travellers receive access to the waterpark and Lost World Aquarium. The waterpark features more than 105 slides, attractions and experiences, while the aquarium offers encounters with marine life across a large collection of themed spaces.

The second component is the 24-hour City Sightseeing Dubai Hop-on Hop-off bus ticket. This gives visitors the flexibility to travel between major sights, including Dubai Mall and JBR The Beach, while getting off and rejoining the service at different stops.

Together, the experiences create a package that can suit families, couples and first-time visitors looking for an easy introduction to Dubai.

Who Can Use the Emirates Offer

The promotion is based on an eligible Emirates-operated return journey to Dubai.

According to the official terms, new bookings must be made during the September 21 to October 11 sale period, with inbound travel completed between September 24 and December 13. The offer is available across Emirates online origins except the UAE, Israel, Iraq and Iran.

Flights must be operated by Emirates aircraft and crew, and tickets must be issued on Emirates. One-way journeys are not eligible.

The promotion also cannot be applied retroactively to existing bookings. Travellers who qualify receive access codes for the attractions after completing their eligible booking.

That means the offer is particularly relevant to people already considering a Dubai trip during the autumn and winter travel window.

My Emirates Pass Adds More Savings

The free attraction package is only one part of Emirates’ wider Dubai proposition.

Travellers can also use My Emirates Pass, which provides access to discounts at participating venues across Dubai and the UAE. Depending on the participating partner, benefits can include savings on dining, attractions, shopping, leisure activities, beach access, spas and other experiences.

This creates a second layer of value after the complimentary attractions have been used.

For a short city break, those savings can help travellers manage spending across restaurants, activities and entertainment. For longer holidays, the boarding pass can become a practical way to access multiple offers during the stay.

The specific discounts vary by participating venue and are subject to partner terms.

Dubai’s Winter Calendar Creates a Natural Tourism Window

The timing of the promotion is significant.

Dubai’s winter period is one of the strongest periods for outdoor tourism, with more comfortable temperatures creating better conditions for beaches, sightseeing, desert experiences, walking tours and outdoor dining.

The season also brings a dense calendar of events, festivals, shopping activity and entertainment, giving international visitors more reasons to combine the complimentary attractions with other experiences.

Emirates said its new campaign has been timed with Dubai’s winter events calendar and is designed to encourage travellers from across its global network to explore the city.

More Than an Airline Promotion

The campaign also shows how airlines are increasingly becoming part of the destination experience.

Rather than simply selling the flight, Emirates is connecting air travel with attractions, dining, shopping and entertainment. Its Dubai Experience platform allows customers to build customised itineraries incorporating hotels, attractions, restaurants and activities.

For Dubai, this approach can help convert flight demand into broader visitor spending across the tourism economy.

The airline operates a large international network into Dubai, giving the campaign access to travellers across multiple source markets.

Skywards Members Can Add Another Layer

Emirates Skywards members can also earn Miles through participating partners while in Dubai. Emirates has highlighted opportunities involving hotels, car rentals, retail, banking and other partners, while Miles can be used towards reward flights, upgrades and selected experiences.

This makes the promotion particularly relevant to frequent Emirates travellers who can combine complimentary attractions with loyalty benefits.

The airline is effectively connecting several parts of the trip: the flight, attractions, local spending and future loyalty rewards.

What Travellers Need to Know Before Booking

The AED 535 value applies to the specified complimentary experiences and should not be interpreted as a cash credit. The attraction passes are subject to their individual terms, and additional products, food, transport and other services may not be included. Travellers should also check visa and entry requirements separately, as those remain the passenger’s responsibility. For eligible visitors planning a Dubai trip during the winter travel period, however, the package adds a substantial set of experiences to a qualifying return flight. With free attraction access, additional My Emirates Pass discounts and the option to build a customised Dubai itinerary, Emirates is positioning the winter campaign around a simple proposition: arriving in Dubai can come with more of the city already built into the journey.
