The Dublin Royal Convention Centre, adjacent to the new Le Pole Square is now open, under the same ownership as Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin and Velvære Spa.
The new €20m convention centre will offer facilities for events from private boardroom meetings to professional conferences of up to 800 people and gala banquets for 550 guests.
The centre has over 2,020 square metres of meeting and event space with capacity for over 1,100 delegates. The new venue spans two floors, with the main plenary room, five break-out rooms and an exhibition space.
The main Douglas Hyde Suite (named after Ireland’s first president) on the ground floor level of the Dublin Royal Convention Centre spans almost 705 square metres to facilitate 800 delegates theatre style or up to 550 banquet style, and has pre-conference space for serving refreshments, lunches and pre-dinner drinks.
