From major exhibitions in Dubai to cultural gatherings in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Al Ain, the programme gives international visitors several reasons to combine meetings and conferences with city breaks, heritage visits, shopping, dining and entertainment.
The UAE’s September schedule spans energy, investment, healthcare, technology, media, publishing, cybersecurity, education and travel. For tourists, that broad calendar matters because large events can increase visitor movement through airports, hotels, restaurants, attractions and transport networks while creating opportunities to extend short business trips into leisure stays.
Dubai Opens September With Major International Events
Dubai begins the month with Middle East Energy at Dubai World Trade Centre from 1 to 3 September. The exhibition is expected to bring exhibitors and professional visitors from international markets, creating early-month demand for accommodation and city transport. The programme continues with the International Property Show and AIM Congress from 7 to 9 September, followed by Dubai Derma from 8 to 10 September.
Visitors can pair professional schedules with Dubai’s attractions, beaches, shopping districts and entertainment venues.
A major tourism-focused event follows with Arabian Travel Market from 14 to 17 September at Dubai World Trade Centre. The event brings tourism professionals into Dubai and places the emirate at the centre of international travel activity.
Abu Dhabi Adds Culture, Heritage and Business Tourism
Abu Dhabi will offer a different travel mix in September, combining major conferences with cultural and heritage experiences. The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition continues at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi until 6 September, providing visitors with access to displays and activities connected with falconry, equestrian traditions, camping and tourism.
Middle East Film & Comic Con follows from 11 to 13 September at ADNEC. The event adds entertainment and popular culture, while the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair runs from 13 to 18 September. Al Ain and Sharjah Broaden the UAE Travel Map
