In November of the previous year, Disney Fantasy, operated by Disney Cruise Lines, underwent a routine inspection conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The ship earned a commendable score of 98, just two points shy of the perfect rating it achieved during its previous two inspections, reaffirming its strong health and safety record.

While the inspection results were generally favorable, the CDC report did identify a few minor infractions. One issue involved ice buildup inside a light fixture in the pastry freezer, raising questions about its proper maintenance and potential implications for food storage conditions.

Additionally, the inspection flagged condensation problems within the freezer—a common challenge in environments where temperature fluctuations occur. Although this was not considered a major issue, it was noted as an area that required attention to ensure the freezer continued to operate efficiently and remained clean.

Despite these minor concerns, the Disney Fantasy’s impressive score of 98 underscores Disney Cruise Lines’ commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. The minor violations identified are expected to be addressed swiftly, preserving the ship’s reputation for excellence.

Looking ahead, Disney Cruise Lines is likely to resolve these issues promptly, ensuring that Disney Fantasy continues to provide a safe, comfortable, and hygienic environment for its guests while visiting some of the most popular cruise destinations.
