For the second successive year, the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) has upheld the prestigious title of Best Venue of the Year at the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI) Annual Awards dinner, last month.
This national industry event acknowledges role players who help shape the industry and position South Africa on the global map. The Member’s Choice Awards is a unique democratic process, affording industry peers the opportunity to vote for the award category winners.
“We are delighted that we have once again clinched this award, which is testament that our peers are confident that the CTICC has a world-class product offering and continues to deliver service excellence”, says Julie-May Ellingson, CTICC Chief Executive Officer.
The CTICC is continuously investing in its infrastructure, staff development and innovative service offerings. This coupled with its commitment to delivering premier events, are just some of the reasons why the CTICC continues to remain the venue of choice for world renowned events such as the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, Investing in African Mining Indaba and popular exhibitions such as the Cape Homemakers Expo, the Good Food & Wine Show and Decorex – to name a few.
“The CTICC will continue to bring the very best of local and international events and conferences to the Western Cape – driving valuable knowledge exchange across a plethora of sectors, whilst boosting job creation and economic spin-off for the region”, concludes Ellingson.
