CINZ: ‘Talk about Cool’ Speakers at Show Me Wellington

CINZ-LogoAdvertising Guru Peter Biggs and World of Wearable Arts General Manager Tim Launder will headline the inspiring ‘Talk About Cool’ seminars series at this year’s Show Me Wellington on 7 August.

 

 
Show Me Wellington (SMW) announces the full ‘Talk About Cool’ programme with three new sessions added to the mix! Thought-provoking guest speakers include: Peter Biggs, Managing Director of Clemenger BBDO in Melbourne; and Tim Launder, General Manager of WOW.
The morning is set to impress with former Wellingtonian of the Year, Peter Biggs who will talk about bringing brands to life through Engineering outstanding event experiences. Peter is currently the Managing Director of the multi-award-winning advertising agency Clemenger BBDO in Melbourne.

 

Kicking off at 1pm, world-class speakers join SMW’s Industry Panel, where they will be discussing a variety of topics covering – industry trends, creativity and insights aimed at event professionals. The interactive seminar will provide access to industry experts as well as personal and professional development for attendees.

 

The Industry Panel will be hosted by Positively Wellington Tourism’s Chief Executive, David Perks, and brings together a group of passionate industry professionals. The panel includes: Conventions and Incentives New Zealand’s new Chief Executive, Sue Sullivan; Australian Society of Associations Executive’s New Zealand General Manager, Brett Jeffery; and Jessica Stevens, the new Head of Positively Wellington Tourism’s Events and Partnership team from Business Events Wellington.
Following the Industry Panel, attendees are sure to Be WOWed by Tim Launder, talking about his experience in delivering some of Wellington’s most iconic events. He has recently been appointed the General Manager of the World of Wearable Arts and prior to that he has spent six years at Weta Workshop.

 

Show Me Wellington’s Event Manager, Jo Darby, says that they have worked hard to secure some of New Zealand’s brightest event stars from industry leaders to inspirational go-getters.
